From this module, I learned that instructional technology is made up of several key components, including hardware, software, digital content, and the strategies used to implement them effectively. It helped me understand that technology alone does not improve learning—it’s how it is integrated into instruction that makes the difference.
One important takeaway for me was the need to align technology with learning objectives and student needs. I also learned that proper planning, training, and support are essential to successfully using instructional technologies in any educational setting.
I plan to apply this knowledge by being more intentional when selecting and using technology. Instead of choosing tools based on convenience, I will focus on how they support engagement, accessibility, and learning outcomes. I also want to continue exploring different tools and learning from my peers to improve my approach.
