One of the biggest takeaways from this module is that the most valuable learning in simulation occurs during the debriefing process. I learned that creating psychological safety, encouraging reflection, and using evidence-based frameworks such as PEARLS or Plus-Delta help learners critically evaluate their clinical reasoning rather than simply identifying mistakes. I also gained a better understanding of the facilitator's role as a guide who promotes self-reflection and connects simulation experiences to real-world clinical practice.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner and clinical educator, I intend to apply these principles by fostering a supportive learning environment where learners feel comfortable discussing their decision-making and identifying opportunities for improvement. I believe that effective reflection and constructive feedback will help develop confident, competent healthcare professionals while ultimately improving patient outcomes.
