Mary, I teach in a teacher preparation program an inclusion course. I train general educators to use different accommodations to help students with disabilities to be successful in general classroom. What the teachers soon realize is that the techniques and strategies I share with them can be used with every student. This is an ah-ha moment because good teaching is good teaching. So the more change of pace and variety we offer our students the more engaged they will be.
