Hi Dorothy, The delay is fine because I understand that you many responsibilities that take time and concentration. I appreciate your interest in instructional improvement and how all of us can be more efficient and effective in our course delivery. As you plan your lectures around the 10-15 minute time frame keep in mind that you don't have to stop the flow of the class but introduce some variety in the process. You mentioned that you do a lot of Q&A in your classes. This is a good way to keep the students focused on course content, then variety through discussion and then back to the lecture.
