This unit has been affirming, reinforcing the importance of establishing a consistent routine in lesson planning. It's good to be reminded of the value of assessing students' prior knowledge and organizing resources early, which makes instruction more focused, effective, and impactful. It has always been my goal to be intentional about preparation so that the lessons I development build on what students already know.
