This module reminded me that there's no "one-size-fits-all" approach to career development. Every student has different experiences and circumstances that influence the choices they make, so it's important to really listen before offering guidance. I think that's something I can apply every day in Career Services when working with students from different backgrounds and at different stages of their career journey.

The theories that have been presented all play apart in shaping careers and success of students. It is also important to continously evaluate ones strengths, skills and limitations.

Career development is strongly influenced by personal experiences, relationships, culture and life circumstances.  Career paths are often shaped by both individual choices and external factors, which means there is rarely one single path to success. Reflection, adaptability and understanding personal stories and important parts of career growth.

Many of the theories presented have overlapping strengths and and conditions.  Likewise, the same for limitations.  It takes listening to students in career counseling situations to a new level, and how to make decisions in the approaches you will us on an individual basis.
