Learning more about career fairs, job fairs and career expos was interesting. 

The theories that have been presented all play apart in shaping careers and success of students. It is also important to continously evaluate ones strengths, skills and limitations. 

The Planned Happentsance Theory is one that I haven't thought much about but, honestly that is where a lot of careers begin. That coupled with the DYL theory can built great skills, experiences and futures for students. 

I learned it is important to match skills and personaity traits not just one or the other and to start convsersationsa about future goals. 

Career development  is an ongoing effort as each person's interests and needs are ever evolving.

contstant relationship building is key as is alwasy evaluating relationships and asking direct questions and maintaining transparancy. 

Getting employers involved especially in the co-design part is going to be very helpful to our program.

Utilizing externships provides a great opportunity to learn more about a specific field. 

I would like to learn more about vidoe resumes, the best platforms to create them with and if they are more or less successful in my area than a traditional resume. 

It is important for students to understand and research the job market in the area they plan to live in as many of the of the students choose to leave this area and move to larger areas.
