This module reminded me that careers aren't always a straight path. People grow, their goals change, and every experience can teach them something valuable. I want to keep that in mind when working with students by encouraging them to stay open to new opportunities and see career development as an ongoing journey rather than a single destination.

I learned it is important to match skills and personaity traits not just one or the other and to start convsersationsa about future goals.

Career development is not just about matching a person to a job, but also about growth, adaptability and lifelong learning.  People's interests, skills and goals can change over time, so career paths often evolve through experiences, education, and opportunities.  I learned the importance of helping students build self awareness and transferable skills rather than focusing only on one career choice.

Comparing and contrasting Super's Life Span Life Space Theory with Holland's Career Choice Theory was informative and insightful.  The exercise allows for latitude in selecting components of each theory and putting them to use in career support approaches with students.
