Employer Coming to Speak to Our Students
An employer is coming to speak to our students soon. What are some points that would be good for him to touch on?
I suppose that #1 would be what are employers in your field looking for in an employee?

That's great. Why not give the employer a list of points to discuss and activities to conduct. I would have him/her talk about the company, hiring policies, types of jobs open to entry level staff, what they are looking for, and what they base their hiring decisions on. Then I would ask the employer to conduct mock interviews with students in front of a group. Then organize a discussion on why the interview went well and ways to improve. Great question. Thanks.
