Applying Title IX and VAWA Knowledge to Promote a Safe Campus Environment
From this module, I learned how Title IX and VAWA work together to prevent and address sex-based discrimination, harassment, and violence in educational settings. I also learned the importance of clear reporting procedures, the role of responsible employees and Title IX Coordinators, and the resources and protections available to students and staff.
I intend to apply this knowledge by staying informed about reporting options and campus resources, supporting a safe and respectful environment, and understanding the importance of responding appropriately when concerns are raised.
