What I learned about Title IX and VAWA

This section was clearly an eye-opener for me as a faculty member. Everyone has an obligation to report incidents witnessed or information overheard. I will make it a point to find out who the Title IX Coordinator is on campus. The Clery Act is important. Reporting statistics of prior acts to students can be important in decision-making regarding attending the school.  It is important that every student can receive an education free from sexual harassment of any kind, in a safe environment.
