Presenting Information About Your School

Given the things we cannot say in our communications to prospective students, there is information that we must provide them so that they can make informed decisions about their education and training. What is the best way to remain compliant when presenting information about your school and its outcomes?

Make sure every student receive school tour as well as catalog and meet with F.A and diclose all information about our school

To ensure that prospect students have all proper information of our University, we will provide our website information, brochures, university catalog, academic calendar and by touring the university will have the opportunity to meet with each reperesentaive of area ( admisions, financial aid, academics)to discuss and answer any questions to satisfy there need and expectations educational program.

One needs to be be fully trained on all rules, regulations and procedures. This can be achieved through new employee training and continuing educaltion training. It is each person's responsiblilty to have certain information memorized so nothing incorrect is said. Also, one should always refer to the information documented in the school catalog and handbook.

Being completely thorough and honest, with your prospective students, will help your school with proper enrollment and retention rates.

Isabel,

Hi! Practicing ethical enrollments could assist a school in retaining their students because the student will be able to better understand the program complexities.

I don't believe the compliant outcome is necessarily about memorizing.

It is important for staff to constantly refer to the school catalog/handbook and the school website as they are essential tools for the job. But can also be used as visual resources for prospective students.
These tools can result in positive outcomes without misleading or misrepresenting ourselves to the prospective student.

It is further important for all staff members to continuously enroll in professional development courses as it is essential in continuing to stay compliant with regulations.

Alegria,

Excellent point, the most important tool is the ability to find the answer. Thank you for sharing with the forum.
