ATB Testing
We have found the revised guidelines for ATB testing to be very beneficial in ensuring a separation between our school's staff and test administration/scoring. Anyone else?

ATB is a critical area for those campuses who participate in the program. There is absolutely no room to waiver from the Federal guidelines. I would be interested in hearing from others as well.

With the pending changes in ATB eligibility for T4, it exclude education opportunities for a huge group of people seeking to improve their life. Time to consider how to help ATB's to get GED's.

This is a great challenge for many career schools. In the past I was very successful through offering GED prep classes on my campus. It was great customer service and brought in an entirely new generation of potential customers. We did hire a GED specialist but the testing was performed at an off-site testing center.

Now with atb being gone, this is an excellent idea. what we do is keep a resource guide to be able to direct students to the nearest GED prep centers.

Many schools are becoming GED prep centers "at no charge" as a community service. This allows the community to see the school as a community asset and opens the door for future students.

I give out Local GED Centers information to the prospective whom does not have POG.
I usually Generate a list of programs that assist with G E D.

ATB programs can be very important to future enrollments for career colleges. Also by assisting prospective students in obtaining their GED you are helping them achieve an important goal.

I have found that 75% of the students who took the ATB never completed school but those that went and got a GED were more likely to complete school.
