Job replacement rate formulas

Job replacement rate formulas means one general formula?

Jaiden - I am not clear on what you are asking. I suggest you check with your regulatory and/or placement office to understand details regarding how your institution manages these formulas.

This topic can be very confusing to a potential student who does not understand how this is measured. One thing to keep in mind is that each institution may have it's own formula. One institution may only count employment rates within 6 months, while another may use a 2 year timeline. One school may use a calendar year, while another uses a fiscal year. Without knowing all of the details of the formulas, it is best not to compare them.

Patrice - I completely agree that these differences make it difficult to make meaningful comparisons. I think this is confusing not only to students, as you mentioned, but also to staff who may not realize that schools report using various formulas based on their respective accreditation and/or agency approvals.
