ACICS specific criteria for the Academics

Specifically what to do to provide proof of "Learning Outcome." Or specifics of Self-Study and CEP for each department.

At our institution, learning outcomes are tracked both at the institional level and at the programmatic level. (And this is all documented in the CEP: not only measurements but expected results)

Institutionally, we looking a percentages of students who demonstrate passing grades (this is effective as long as you monitor grade inflation), we look at tutoring effectiveness and also overall certification pass rates.

Programmatically, we look a program certification pass rates, proficiency checks for certain lab classes, results on nationally normed assessements (such as the ATI for Nursing), and grades in specific courses.

Are there certain learning outcomes your are considering, how are you measuring them, what expectations are you setting and what processes are in place to support those expectations?

Learning Outcomes are developed by the program and go through an approval process with the college. Outcomes are formulated by industry standards such as the MTBOK. The outcomes are all assessed in a variety of ways to accommodated different learning styles. The outcomes are written in the syllabi for each course.
Institutionally we look at passing grades by demographics and program completion.
