HELP

I relied on memorization rather than used comprehension to get through quizz two. The reading material is so filled with specialized jargons; filled with insider speech, that someone unfamiliar with marketing (as I am) is totally at sea. I would like to hear from someone who has a thorough knowledge of this stuff . . . please explain, in common language, what it is I was to have learned form Module Two. I do not have the nerves to atempt to read Modules Three and Four.
Thanks a million.

The objectives for section 2 are:

Develop monthly lead goals by medium designed to achieve your start goals

Create a marketing budget from your start plan

Plan the budget for your creative

The first module in the section breaks down the terms used specifically in this course from the industry.

What is it you are wanting to get out of the course? I want to make sure it is lining up with what you are wanting to learn.

I am a Curriculum Specialist who is requred to take these courses because of my new job as Program Director for a cash-poor organization . . . I have to do the public relations activities, among other things, hence the need to take this course. When I see an adjective (i.e. creative)being used as a noun without any helpful narrative, I am left feeling lest than pleased. I am never going to use creative as anything other than a descriptive term.

I have no interest in being a margeting person, I took the course because I need to learn how best to reach our target population . . . I don't need the insider speech, just useful, no-frills strategies on how to increase student enrollment.

Dear Alessandra,

Looks like MT101 (Creating Publicity for your Career School) is a better fit for you.

Yours in learning,

In this case you must read each section and follow the "flow." Memorization may help, but I believe that the quiz truly tests more common sense principles. Yes, it was a somewhat difficult read but the quiz was not that difficult.

I too was a bit confused by the terms in Module 2 (it may be helpful to provide a "dictionary" of terms used in this course). However, I think if one studies the example spreadsheets provided in this module it should make it easier to understand the information and apply it.

Amanda-

Thanks for the feedback. If multiple people are having a problem it is definitely something we need to review.
