Connecting with people is so very important. Its not what we say but how we say it and ensuring our body language lines up with our true intentions. The Communication Essentials course was extremly helpful in fine tuning effective ways to communicate verbally and non verbally. Great course, it is extremely relevant in our personal and professional lives. Thank you!
The course provides ample information on which we can tailor to various student situations and methods of communication such as in-person or over the phone conversations. I believe it provides the foundation to better undertsanding of how to better assist students in various medias.
The most important thing is to be yourself, be honest, listen and let the prospect ask questions too! An interview is not an interogation, it should be all about the prospect. Must reach common ground with the prospect to make sure your school is the right fit via programs offered, schedules, support staff, services offered and most importantly, what the student wants!
