Check put the Commission website. They also webcast the Commission meetings every two months. Also check out FAPSC, the Florida Association for Postsecondary schools and Colleges. they are your state school association.

Making sure you read all the newsletters that the department of highway and safety issues, also keeping up with the commission for independent education and the changes that are made. Making sure you know your contract inside out.

How often will can we expect there to be changes in the FDOE rules and regulations? I anticipate that the set of rules and regulations are relatively stable. Do they undergo annual review and revision?

Changes to the rules can happen at any time during the year. Only changes the statutes can happen during the legislative session at the beginning of every year.
