Time management

As cliché as this may sound but there is not enough time in any given day to accomplish tasks and meet objectives. I find myself taking work home which invariably affects my personal time with family. I have to prioritize my time and ask myself what is more important to me in the situation at hand.

May I suggest prioritizing with the use of a "to do" list using the "A and B" method. I've found it to be very useful in managing tasks that I tackle daily.

Tarek,

Lots of people feel as you do. With smart phones and virtual private networks, people are rarely away from work even when they are away from work.

Bryan,

What are the main ways you distinguish between A and B tasks?

Jeffrey Schillinger

The to do list has helped me so much! I usually make it up the night before and this helps me get through the day. I also leave breaks in case something unexpectedly pops up

I feel the same way. Even though I do prioritize and make use of to-do lists. The fact of the matter is that sometimes every task on one day is top priority, meaning that often work follows me home.

What is the best way to manage too many top priority items?
