Bridging cultural
I have taught students from many different cultures. To truly engage students, we must reach out to them in ways that are culturally responsive, respectful and appropriate. How do you achieve this connection to them as an online instructor? Ti Lynn
Ti Lynn, I agree totally with your comment that we need to understand and respect the learner's culture. Alas, is an online environment where the modality and rubrics are set and the cultural perspective is not as clear, there is a tendency to reach out to all learners in the same way albeit always with respect.
