How well do you know your own mind computer?
One thing I picked up along the way about AI and how I can use it is that I first had to figure out my own thinking. Once I worked through some of my own internal struggles, I realized that AI acts a lot like a mirror. At first, I found myself wondering whether I was fighting my own input, whether AI was filtering responses through my biases, or whether it was simply being overconfident because I had provided poor information. Eventually, I had to let go of my pride and recognize that the quality and direction of the responses I received often reflected the quality of the input I provided.
Through that realization, I quickly learned where my thinking ends and where AI begins. Understanding that distinction has helped me use AI more effectively. Rather than expecting it to have all the answers, I now see it as a partner that can help me organize information, challenge my assumptions, and work through problems. When used thoughtfully, the combination of human judgment and AI support can help uncover insights and solutions that neither could achieve as effectively alone.
