Computer Lit
I currently teach in a clinical program that has incorporated the use of computers daily in the curriculum. We use computers for scheduling patients, treatment records and radiographs. We agree that our students must be computer literate to give them the best chance to succeed as a professional on the job.

This is excellent to hear. Computers are everywhere and yet people tend to be afraid of certain programs.

It seems that when we get an older student, they are almost afraid of computer software, and in a physician practice or hospital, this is a total deal-breaker.....so just accomplishing making the student feel comfortable with software is accomplishing alot!

Oh that comfort zone!! I run into that a lot too with an added attitude of why do I need this, but this is a great opportunity to show exactly why!
