Which of the ten(10)soft skills identified by the 1997 study do you consider to be the most important to your specific job?
That's really hard to narrow down. They are all very important especially in certain circumstances. I think that I would have to say common sense though. It seems to be lacking on about every front lately and the workplace is no different.
I would have to say that being a team player or playing nice in the sand box, as it is referred to at my place of employment. Not everyone, student or faculty, can get by with only counting on themselves. It takes a team to make a student successful. A team at a students home for support and a team at school to ais them to success.
