Open Door

I find truly focosing and fostering an enviroment that the student feels comfortable communicating to you helps you as an instuctor pin point strugles that the students might have and gives you the opportunity to help them.

Agreed. I feel that putting yourself closer to their level, with out getting too close, helps in my ability to push the student to the next level and help with more specific troubles they hight have.

The more challenging the student, the better teachers we become.

So true, sometimes it is hard to get students to open up. Getting them to show where they need help is some time hard when they are scared to show it.

I found that it is useful, and that it makes students feel more comfortable to come to the instructor for help.
