Daily Debrief

At the end of each day perform a 10 minute debrief with the students.
Ask how the day went, do they have any questions about the curriculum or objectives. Allow them the comfort zone to respond.

To lever off your post perhaps a 1 minute quiz
would be appropriate.

I also do a "completing the circle" at the end of each class and a quick review at the start of the next class. I have found it brings a nice end to the day's class and also allows the students to review what they have learned. I noticed the students really responding to the quick review at the start of class. They started to come prepared with small questions and answers to the questions I may ask in review.
