Firm and Direct

On the first day of a new class I tend to get an important message across to the students. I am firm and direct letting the students know that I am the PACK LEADER. I go over the rules, objectives of the course and my expectations of my students. I tell them that my attitude will be a direct reflection of theirs. Once the message is sent, I tell them that it will be a fun class and very educational. I try to provide a positive and interactive learning environment. What are your thought?

well done! we have to maintain our objectivity and we also need to listen to what the expectation of our students. learning is not a one way street, we teach them and we also learn from them.
