The syllabus is the roadmap for students to follow. I cover each section of the syllabus on the first day, asking students to hi-lite important parts (such as how grades are derived).
The students are expected to keep the syllabus with them during the semester and refer to it as needed. Listed in the syllabus is the progression of topics we will cover and the appropriate time table. This comprehensive plan should be understood by each student as expectations are clarified.
