Networking

What are the different ways to network?

I believe that we are always networking, whether is with coworkers or  othersi n our industry.
I often reach out to all different types of institutions, such as community colleges, language centers, high schools and organizations, both online and at events.

Keep an open mind, talk openly about what your goals are and dont assume that you know more than your audience. I am always surprised at how much current enrollments can teach me about reaching out to their fromer schools, and what events I should appear at. In fact, I often consult them about career fairs, their college counselors, and any other information I can think of.

This has resulted in generating referrals, since current students feel empowered  and  even more importantly, want to share their experiences with potential students.

Our Admissions is committed to strengthening our relationships with the community, prioritizing effective collaboration with our counselors and community-based organizations. We attend a lot of Career and Health Fairs and we are always involved with networking.

Admissions is all about communication. It was interesting to learn all the different methods of communicationg.

I am at the point of trying to learn different ways to encourage students to join our classes. I read a couple of interesting tidbits that I will try for our 2015 season. This is a new season, so trying a new thing may be the injection that's necessary for our institution.
