Using application as a retention tool.

I often share my work experiences with the class so they can see the relevance of what we are learning.  I try to learn what interests the students about their particular careeer choice and incorporate it in the lesson.

I strongly do agree with your comments I myself practice that with my students and it is rewarding to see they relate and embrace real life stories relevant to their careers.

Sincerely

This experience truly wonderful and learning every day +enjoying.

Yes, it is very important for instructors to interact with the students, but do not become too personally involved. The experience of seeing a student reach a goal, whether it is small or large is a wonderful achievement.

I also agree.  Sharing your work experiences, especially the ones that didn't work out right.  The times we learned from our mistakes, shows both that we are human and the students gets the benefit of learning from our mistakes and the consequenses that went along with it.
