Great refresher

I'm relatively new to this part of the industry, so this course was a great refresher on a lot of the things that I learned when I first started.  For example, I didn't realize that it was a FCIE rule that admissions staff cannot call themselves "counselor" or "advisor."  I think it's important for everyone involved in postsecondary to undergo regular training to stay up to date.

I agree. I've been in this business for years and some years ago held the position of Admissions Advisor. So it was surprising to see that this is not acceptable. I think that this training provides a wealth of knowledge for those in postsecondary education.

Wow! I totally agree with Meggan and Ebette. We obviously have to comply with 'the letter' and 'the spirit' of the rules, but who knew that we could only refer to our job titles in certain ways? Thank you for the great refresher course!
