Admissions

The Admissiond Rep has to love what they do in order to be successful!

I 100 percent agree with this assessment. I believe that loving what you do is very important. In our line of work you must enjoy working with people and enjoy helping people find the best fit for their future.

Maria your assessment is kinda true, however I have met several admissions representatives over the past 20 years that were successful but they lacked longevity. Having a love for this business is important but I tell people that i'm in the admissions business and the admissions business is in me

I think having a positive attitude comes through in one way or another when dealing with students. I think if you don't genuinely love what you are doing, you are doing both yourself and your students a disservice.

You defiantly have to love working with people one a one on one basis, but working as a team to reach desired goals is very important

Being an Admissions Representative is a rewarding job. I love making a difference in someone's future!

I definately agree, if you do not love what you do then you will never excel at your job. I love my job alot and with that being said I know how to effectively enroll students and hit my mark. At my school it is very hard because I work at a self pay private college in a smaller town then I use to work in so it is very hard to get students to come to my school.. That opens up all kinds of challenged for me and I love every bit of it

You have to love helping students making their dream career come true. You have enjoy seeing them graduate. You have to a passion in helping students guide them to the right path in order to last longevity.
