I learned that effective instruction starts with thoughtful planning, clear expectations, and building strong connections with students from day one. I have always tried to add this into my teaching. However, I also gained a better understanding of how lesson planning, learning styles, and creating a welcoming environment directly impact student engagement and success. I intend to apply what I’ve learned by preparing lessons in advance, using checklists to stay organized, setting clear objectives, and adapting my teaching style to meet diverse learner needs. In my workplace, I will focus on creating a supportive learning environment, modeling professionalism, motivating students through real-world relevance, and continuously reflecting on my teaching practices so I can improve and better support student success.
