Hello Everyone,

I believe this course is vital to every faculty's training. It is very important for us to understand the legality when it comes to teaching or providing accommodation to our students with disabilities. We have to put all of our personal ideas aside. We can never assume that we know the limitations of a person because everybody does things differently. Most importantly, these refresher courses help us to practice in a way that will help avoid lawsuits for both us and the university. We must help foster equal access to opportunity. Like the training stated, 'the laws are about assuring access, not a success." We have to ensure that everyone has the same equal opportunity.
