This is my first week in the admissions field.  I have years of experience working in the college environment in athletics as a coach.  I decided to make the transition to admissions this year.  I never realized how much information an admission rep has to know to recruit students to attend their school.  I figured it was pretty similar to recruiting for athletics, when in reality, it is nothing like that at all.  There are far more rules and regulations that go into recruiting potential students to come to your school.  This course was a great course for me to learn new and improved ways to help me understand my role as an admissions rep.  Also, I liked the fact that for an online training course, this course was very informative, detailed, and interactive.  I feel that it would be in every new persons interest to take this course when beginning with admissions.  It was highly beneficial for me and I feel that the new tools and information I have learned will help me do my job more effectively in the future.  I will continue to refer back to the course as needed.
