I will return to, and retake, this ED101 course if and when I have an opportunity to teach didactically in a classroom. I will need to brush up on how to organize a syllabus, construct lesson plans, and introduce myself and create a safe classroom environment. I will want to refamiliarize myself to the methods of content delivery and types of learning. I currently instruct in a lab setting only, so my focus is on clinic protocol, clinical skills assessment, process of care, and documentation. I instruct this in a live clinical/laboratory setting and am currently not responsible for lecture and assessment in a didactic setting. This course offers a very good fundamental outline of what to have organized before attempting to teach a didactic course. It was interesting and helpful for my possible future career moves.
