As someone that has been with my company for a while most of this information I was already familar with. I can see benefits to some new employees though. I stay on top of new programs being implemented by my school and how they effect my job.
I agree. It was nice to refresh on all topics however I have a new co-worker who also completed this training and she was thrilled with how much information she learned. It is easy for me to stay on-top of new policies and programs, and I find that is the best way to remain a valuable resource to new employees and prospective students. I even have some students who are currently in one of our programs that still use me to reference certain things.
