Alumni Members

My experience as an alumnus shows how difficult it is to maintain a profitable relationship with a former student. I mean, I'm busy; I'm moving around to different places and countries.

I first graduated from a church school, and I felt more attached to it than to the state university I attended for my master's. But beyond showing some interest in my church school during the football season, I have no connection beyond sending a small contribution every now and then. Age and distance also take a toll. I tend to think that I have to leave something immortal behind before I make my noble exit. I don't know how much a school can get from having an alumni association.
