This module taught me the importance of meeting the needs of all students by understanding and implementing accommodations and modifications outlined in IEPs and 504 Plans. I learned that accommodations help students access the curriculum without changing learning expectations, while modifications adjust the learning objectives to meet a student's individual needs.
I will apply this knowledge by reviewing student IEPs and 504 Plans, providing appropriate accommodations and modifications, and creating an inclusive classroom where all students have the opportunity to succeed. By adapting instruction, assessments, and learning activities based on individual needs, I can help every student achieve their highest potential.
