<p>I definitely think it is important to see each student as an individual who has the potential to be a great student when they are included. I don't mean included as being color blind either. The USA is often referred to as the melting pot because of the diverse population. I like to include other cultures by asking questions and having a potluck on a lecture day and every student bring a dish popular to their family or ethnicity to share with others and we can talk about our differences and how they can impact each other and ourselves. We can learn a lot from our peers.&#160;</p>
