Thoughts on related coursework on the resume
What are you thoughts on how a student/graduate should display their related coursework on their resume as it applies to the industry they are applying to? Should they put a separate section explaining that is what it is? Or would they include it in their Core Competencies since it is part of their knowledge base now? I've had students do it both ways, but haven't seen one way being better than another. Thoughts?
I struggle with this as welll. Many students have varied backgrounds and coursework. I feel that it depends on the job they are applying for.
I agree with Angie - i would also say it depends on the rest of the content of the resume itself - how much working experience, the overall visual presentation of the document. If its gonna make that student look more presentable on paper, why not have both?
