Finding out what students' interest are earlier on is important in order to get them on the right track throughout high school. Getting advisers to meet especially with freshman to get them thinking about what they are interested in and get goals set.
Our county students do a yearly review of their interest inventory with their Career Development Coordinator; however, how that pertains to their high school schedule is decided between the student, their parent, and their HS Guidance Counselor.
I intend to pre-assess incoming students to check for understanding on CTE .
