Student Complaint Resolution

When a student complaint is resolved in house or rather resolved before it goes to the CSC, do all notes and documentation need to be filed for CSC visits?

Minnie,
If the student has not filed a complaint with the TWC CSC, then you are not expected to present any notes of such to the CSC during a visit. It is advisable to maintain all notes and records in case a formal complaint is filed later.

JP Mehlmann

When a student complains, I think it should be best practice for management to keep all documentation related to an incident or complaint and how it was addresses/resolved on file.

Paulette,

That is correct and actually required by TWC (and accrediting bodies), that the school maintains a file on all complaints. It is advisable to maintain this file separately from the student file.

Thanks,
JP Mehlmann
