School Personal

Can school personal assit each other w/ there job responsibilites if needed. What areas could someone not assit if they were not an agent or certified thru the state of Ohio.

Justin:

School personnel, such as faculty, are sometimes involved in the recruiting process through attendance at school fairs or other gatherings of potential students. They do not need to be licensed as an agent unless their primary job duty is soliciting students.

However, it is important that all school personnel involved in recruiting/solicitation have a general understanding of the admissions rules and regulations because the regulations apply to any person involved in the process.

Our school personnel are an integral part of our recruiting/retention plan. In fact the department chairs are responsible for contacting and interviewing prospective students. We try to get the students involved with the hghest levels of academia from the first time they walk through the door.

For instance, when a student comes in to apply, tour, and be "conducted" by one of the educational reps, part of the process is an introduction to the chair and/or faculty (when available) and when appropriate, an actual "sit down" with the appropriate academic person!

I would very much agree with the fact that every person working here plays an intregal part in helping student's get into college and continue on with support.

You are so right! Each employee of the college has a specific role that can create a valuable and positive experience for the student. I have found that the student body also plays a large role in the students experience. This is why it is so important that a new student feels comfortable and has the correct information to become a success.
