When faced with a big problem that has no simple solution

I think addressing all issues is best, this bring you to the ideal solution and the cause of the problem.

Big problems with no simple solution need to be broken down into smaller issues... That way parts can be fixed quicker than trying to solve the entire problem at once....

Big problems if analyzed carefully are made of smaller parts. You can focus on all the parts at the same time or focus on just one. Most of the time due to the connection they have when you start solving a small part the big problem will resolved itself. It is a cascade or domino effect.
