Being Present

At our school, the students have Present-Centered Awareness (PCA) classes. This helps increase their sensitivity to themselves and others. In Admissions, we set the stage by practicing this during the process.

What exactly is this class? How does it work? I would love to know if you do not mind sharing as I might could incoroporate the concept into the classes I teach.

The teachers incorporate Yoga, Tai Chi, visualization, stretching, etc into their classes. We are a Massage School. I believe you would have to create your own ways/practices of introducing these concepts.

I think that is a very interesting concept and can see how that would work well in a massage school. I teach visualization in my class and while yoga, etc would not be a great fit some of the philsophies behind them might. Thanks for the tip!
