Writing

Writing is the primary basis upon which your work, your learning, and your intellect will be judged—in school, in the workplace, and in the community.

I will agree with your statement povided writing is a major component of your job description.

I agree; my opinion is informed by good or poor spelling and grammar.

The way that you write is a direct reflection of the kind of employee you are and the quality of your education. This is how we choose to present ourselves. Editing and proofreading are key to present a positive image.

Writing has become a crucial part of the hiring process. Misspellings on your resume and cover letter are unacceptable, this will certainly not lead to an interview. Emails sent must be professional to show the quality of your education and the type of employee you portray.

I agree but it seems that less and less time is spent in the public schools on writing, particularly in the spelling and grammar areas. Are we going to be a nation of phonetic/ twitter spellers?
