How to conduct a meeting

Write down your main points, do not get off topic.

Use an agenda and whenever possible distribute it prior to the meeting.

yes using an agenda is very important. I also find going over what was discusses in the day at the ens of the day helps keep the students up to pace.

When conducting a meeting, it is very important to start at the designated time. Also, to avoid missing important items an agenda should be sent to all participants ahead of time.

I think it is very important to not only to give the participants an agenda in advance that will help them follow along and also give them a sense of what they will be learning about, but also to wrap it up as a review of the main points at the end. Typically listeners can receive 400-600 words per minute and speakers can produce, on average, 125 words per minute which means that when a large amount of information is being thrown at a typical person, nearly 75% of their time is spend day dreaming. So, providing an outline will help keep meeting participants on track, but reviewing main points at the end will help tie up loose ends for those who may have not held strong attention throughout the entire presentation and increase total comprehension.

Excellent Idea...

Before a meeting is better to write an agenda with the importance topic your going to talk.
