I agree with John. I, too, was not aware of the items which now seem so important to the meeting. I am more of a free-wheeling personality, but that does not always serve the purpose of the group, so, I will look to have a properly laid out agenda and do the meeting follow up which is important to attendees and non-attendess alike.

Running great meetings is definitely a learned talent. The process is important. The reason meetings get a bad reputation is to many are not delivered appropriately. You are on the right track.
