Using individual activites
I think most students like individual activites because if they make a mistake the are not singled out as they are in group activities.
Both individual and group activities have their place in class.
They are also excellent on big chatty groups!
Use many of these individual tools such as, crossword puzzles and word searches, as homework and seem to help the students remember their terms. Cannot wait to try the others listed!

I like the idea of group activities. I do not feel that they get singled out as they would with individual activities. Group activities foster camaraderie and give students confidence to speak up in class because they have the entire group behind the answer.
