I think using the bingo would be good for my group of students who are learing ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS coding. I think this would work quite well and be enjoyable by the students
Sherry, since most people have seen or played bingo before coming to class, most people know the rules. No time wasted explaining game or complex activity.

I was hoping to come across someone that is teaching these classes as I am as well. I was thinking about using the bingo in my coding classes but I haven't quite figured out how to do it. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Rhonda, some instructors have read a short case description, and have asked students to place a bingo "x" over the code that most closely corresponds. Then, when someone gets Bingo, they must review with the class which codes they chose and why. Some instructors have used tv or YouTube videos then ask students to "x" the corresponding code.
